BareFoot Boots Review

relaxfit2

I love these Boots! I wear them when it’s cold out. They are water resistant, not waterproof, so I can’t spend a lot of time in the snow or walking through puddles but on semi wet and dry surfaces they do a great job.

These barefoot boots are great because they have a warm lining within the shoes and the rubber on the bottom of the boot keeps my feet safe from pointy objects and feeling an overwhelming amount of cold from the ground. The boots have a wide toe box which gives my feet room to spread out and grip which helps with foot strength.

Not only does it help with foot strength but barefoot sneakers and boots help with foot sensitivity. Feeling the ground helps maintain balance because it allows foot mobility. For example, your toes will bend, your midfoot and ankles will be able to move within its range of motion. Another benefit is getting a free foot massage by pressing your feet on branches and rocks. I usually encourage my clients to be barefoot while training or switch over to barefoot shoes because I believe it helps with foot health.

If you make the switch, be prepared for transition! Your feet will get sore at first, especially if you push it. I recommend doing some feet and ankle stretches plus foam rolling.
